Data Analyst

Overview

• Data collection: Collect data from various sources, including internal databases, publicly available data, and third-party datasets Data cleaning: Identify and correct errors in the data, remove corrupt data, and check for duplicate records Data analysis: Use statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization tools to identify patterns, trends, and insights Data visualization: Present data insights through charts, graphs, and other visualizations
• Data reporting: Generate reports and present findings to aid decision-making
• Database management: Develop and manage data systems and databases
• Data governance: Collaborate with engineers and developers to develop and streamline data governance strategies Skills
• A high level of technical expertise The ability to identify incomplete, inaccurate, or irrelevant data
• The ability to fix quality issues at the source where possible The ability to recognize and identify patterns
• The ability to use data modeling techniques to summarize analysis features
