Data Analyst

vConstruct, a Pune based international engineering and construction services firm seeks a Data Analyst for their Data Science and Analytics team which is a tight-knit group of analysts and engineers that support all data aspects of DPR business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Interact with end users to understand their requirement
2. Create specifications based on the interaction, and coming up with a delivery workflow and solution
3. Create analytical reports for the client, as per the specifications created and execution of project independently or within a team
4. Create Project delivery plan for reports and execute as per schedule
5. Perform quality checks on the reports and data for accuracy, completeness and consistency before sending it across to the client
6. Collaborate with Data Engineering team to define data views and assist functional tie in

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

• 2 - 4 years of Analytics experience in Construction background will be preferred
• Experience working with US or overseas clients will be preferred
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related field
• Equivalent academic and work experience can be considered
• Business experience in analytics, projects in Business Intelligence space, in-depth knowledge in Business intelligence tools such as Power BI, SSRS, etc.
• Excellent communication skills. Proven ability in developing relationships with stakeholders, communicating project/program status, and understanding detailed business requirements across multiple project initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Hands on experience on analytics tools such as R/Python and BI tools for exploratory data analytics
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to take responsibility and deliver projects
• Experience working collaboratively across different skill sets and geographic locations.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• A drive to do what it takes to get the job done, including taking on different roles and responsibilities and adapting to changing environments.
