Data Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI to create impactful data-driven solutions. A strong analytical mindset, critical thinking skills, and a passion for problem-solving are essential. Knowledge of statistics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Power BI Dashboard Development
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI based on functional requirements within defined timelines.
• Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of data visualizations to support decision-making.
• Data Extraction and Transformation
• Extract data from diverse sources such as AWS RDS, Salesforce, Kibana, and other systems.
• Perform ETL processes and ensure data quality for analysis.
• Data Analysis and Insights
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Assist in creating predictive models and statistical analyses using Python.
• Ad-hoc Reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand ad-hoc reporting needs and deliver timely, customized solutions.
• Data Cleaning and Validation
• Perform data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure consistency and reliability.
• Collaboration and Documentation
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Document processes, workflows, and methodologies for transparency and reproducibility.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
• Stay updated on the latest tools, trends, and techniques in data analytics and visualization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with statistical methods and tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of data handling from systems like AWS RDS, Salesforce, or Kibana is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to other BI tools or programming languages like R* or Tableau*.
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms and APIs for data extraction.
• Basic understanding of machine learning techniques is a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?200,000.00 - ?400,000.00 per year
