Roles And Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to manage the take care of operations either in the area of data Ingestion, harmonization, and/or data quality validation process. The person selected will also be responsible for resolving L1 & L2 production issues. The person selected for this role might also require to work on any other assigned BAU tasks and /or work with the Project leads for the assigned work stream.

Accountability

• Daily operations for assigned data ingestion, validation, and/or harmonization steam.
• L1 and L2 issue resolution, issues will be raised by Business stakeholders which has defined resolution SLA.
• Data to be mapped correctly as per source or as per requirement. This could be Product
  
  

Market or outlet mapping.

• Help in unit, user acceptance and load testing.
• Work on the local/Global attributes like the Local Supplier, Global Recognition Price tier, etc.
• Proactive Market Validation making sure Month end numbers are aligned with Market
• Support data governance lead during the implementation of data improvement plans
• Comply with Diageo data controls and Governance.
• Work on Retail data mapping/ outlet mapping at stock keeping unit level.
• Work on multiple Projects (within Marketing, Commercial, Ecommerce domains, etc) enabling them to use a cleansed data.
• Proactive identification of data gaps & fix it with the respective markets or Project business owners as per project assigned.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate, preferably with 1-3 years of Data or Business Intelligence experience, either within Diageo or another consumer goods company (or equivalent in consultancy).
• Willingness to learn new things and gaining domain knowledge.
• Evidence of working effectively within a team.
• Evidence of the ability to work and meet deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Must Have

RELEVANT SKILLS/PC SKILLS/SYSTEM KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong verbal and written communications.
• Structured problem-solving skills.
• Analytical mind-set and attention to detail
• Basic Excel skills are essential, together with SQL knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with handling large data assets
• Ownership mindset
  
  

Gives You An Edge

• Some experience with the Azure reference architecture: ADF, Data bricks Spark, Data warehouse, AAS, STIBO
• Basic understanding of Python, SQL and Azure
• Knowledge of BI (business intelligence) tools such as Power BI
• May require you to take up the Azure /PowerBI /Databricks certifications during the work tenure.
