The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in handling data. The role requires working with structured and unstructured data, creating insightful reports, and helping drive data-driven decisions.
The candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, identifying trends, and translating data into actionable recommendations. They will collaborate with multiple teams to understand business needs and provide meaningful insights. Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot patterns or inconsistencies in data are essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in Data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a similar subject.
- At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
- Good at using SQL to get and manage data from databases.
- Strong skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros.
- Knowing Python or R for working with data is a plus.
- Basic understanding of statistics, data models, and machine learning is a bonus.
- Good at analyzing data, solving problems, and thinking critically.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Understanding of A/B testing and experiments.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Interpret complex data sets and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to support business objectives.
Reporting & Visualization:
- Design and generate KPIs and performance metrics to support decision-making.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency.
Business Intelligence & Strategy:
- Work closely with business teams to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Support marketing, finance, operations, and sales teams with actionable insights.
- Identify business opportunities by analyzing historical data and market trends.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and other teams to enhance data accessibility and usability.
