Cyber Security Consultant

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Consultant with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support organizations in identifying vulnerabilities, strengthening their IT security posture, and implementing best practices to protect against cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and frameworks and be eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, evolving field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment and Analysis:
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk assessments for clients.
• Identify potential security risks and advise clients on mitigating actions to improve security posture.
• Security Strategy Development:
• Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies and policies.
• Provide actionable recommendations on securing networks, applications, and systems.
• Incident Response Support:
• Support the identification, analysis, and remediation of security incidents.
• Collaborate with clients to develop incident response plans and assist in post-incident analysis.
• Security Audits and Compliance:
• Assist clients in preparing for and achieving compliance with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and others.
• Conduct security audits and assist with the implementation of remediation plans.
• Tool Implementation & Monitoring:
• Help implement and configure security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus, etc.
• Monitor security tools and dashboards to detect and respond to threats.
• Client Education & Awareness:
• Conduct security training and awareness sessions for clients' employees to promote best security practices.
• Develop educational materials for clients to increase their cybersecurity knowledge.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare detailed reports outlining security findings, remediation actions, and recommendations.
• Provide clear and concise documentation for clients on security policies, procedures, and configurations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role, such as security consulting, risk management, or network security.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, VPNs, encryption, and other security technologies.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and industry standards.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection software.
• Understanding of cloud security, identity management, and data protection techniques.
• Certifications:
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or others are a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Client-focused with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with penetration testing or vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and risk management software.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements for cybersecurity.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹464,729.63 - ₹1,756,561.75 per year
