Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to lead and enhance our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and automation to drive efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

You will be a key contributor to our cloud strategy, ensuring seamless delivery of applications and services.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS) :

• Design, implement, and manage highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Optimize AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.) for performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Manage and optimize network infrastructure within AWS.
  
  

CI/CD Pipeline Automation

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to achieve continuous delivery.
• Implement automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Implement and manage Artifact repositories.
• Containerization And Orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Build and manage Docker containers for application deployment.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
  
  

- Implement Kubernetes best practices for scalability, security, and performance.-

• Manage and implement Helm charts.
• Manage and implement Istio or similar service mesh technologies.
  
  

Configuration Management And Automation

• Automate server provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Develop and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, or other relevant languages for automation tasks.
• Implement and manage configuration as code practices.
  
  

Monitoring, Logging, And Alerting

• Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Configure and manage centralized logging using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) or similar tools.
• Set up alerting mechanisms and incident response procedures.
• Implement and manage distributed tracing solutions.
  
  

Security And Compliance

• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (i., SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Implement and manage security scanning tools.
  
  

Troubleshooting And Performance Optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the entire cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize application and infrastructure performance.
• Conduct performance testing and analysis.
  
  

Required Technical Skills

• Cloud Platforms : Expert-level knowledge of AWS services.
• CI/CD : Proficiency in Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions.
  
  

Containerization And Orchestration : Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Helm.
• Experience with Service mesh.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Extensive experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Scripting and Programming : Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.

Required Experience

• 6-8 years of professional experience in Cloud DevOps engineering.
• Proven experience in designing and managing complex cloud infrastructure.
• Strong experience in automating CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments.
• Experience with large scale kubernetes deployments.
