Overview

As a Cloud Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure in both AWS and Azure environments. You will deploy and manage virtual machines, databases, networking, and storage solutions. The role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability and security for cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and configure AWS EC2 instances and Azure Virtual Machines.
• Administer relational databases like AWS RDS and Azure SQL Database (MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Set up and manage CloudWatch (AWS) and Azure Monitor to monitor cloud resources.
• Configure and maintain load balancers (AWS ELB & Azure Load Balancer).
• Perform regular backups, patches, and updates for cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure cloud environments are secure, compliant, and optimized for performance.
• Assist with the migration of applications and data between on-premises and cloud environments.

Skills:

• AWS: EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, Load Balancer, S3, VPC.
• Azure: Virtual Machines, SQL Database, Load Balancer, Blob Storage, Azure Monitor.
• Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian).
• Knowledge of Apache and Wildfly server management.
• Networking: Virtual Networks, VPNs, DNS, routing
