Corrosion Test Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint and Corrosion Testing Engineer with a background in Chemistry to join our team.

The candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating and testing paint and metals for corrosion resistance, durability, and adherence to industry standards. Working closely with a team of engineers, this role involves conducting tests as per ASTM/ISO methods, analyzing results, and providing insights to improve product performance and longevity in various environments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing of metals, paint, coatings, and surfaces to evaluate corrosion resistance, durability, adhesion, and wear.
• Perform standardized tests such as Intergranular Corrosion, Crevice corrosion
• Analyze test data and document results, providing clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Should be willing to learn the test methods
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to corrosion and paint testing (e.g., ASTM, ISO standards).
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
• Contribute to technical reports and maintain standards as per ISO 17025

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field (Materials Science or Chemical Engineering is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
