Overview

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing sales processes, providing detailed reports, and supporting the sales team with actionable insights. A key focus of this position is product costing, where the successful candidate will be directly involved in calculating, updating, and ensuring the accuracy of product cost structures. The role requires strong proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, Google Sheets, robust analytical skills, and excellent communication to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Costing: Take primary responsibility for calculating, updating, and analyzing product costs in collaboration with the finance team. Ensure accurate product pricing models that align with profitability goals and market conditions. Continuously monitor cost structures to make recommendations for cost optimization and margin improvement.
  • Sales Reporting & Analytics: Prepare, analyze, and distribute regular sales reports using advanced Excel, Power BI, and Google Sheets to track performance, trends, and KPIs. Utilize product costing data to provide accurate insights on profitability and pricing strategies.
  • Sales Support: Support the sales team by ensuring accurate and timely data entry, maintaining a clean pipeline, and providing product costing and pricing support for customer proposals and sales quotations.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update sales databases, ensuring all information, including product costs, is accurate and up-to-date. Create automated dashboards and detailed reports for real-time insights on sales performance, product margins, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, finance, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication regarding product costing and pricing decisions. Align product costing strategies with overall sales goals.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities to streamline product costing and sales workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Client & Internal Communication: Handle communication with clients regarding pricing inquiries and product details, ensuring that all quotations reflect accurate product costs and profitability considerations.
  • Sales Forecasting: Assist in sales forecasting by incorporating product costing data into the sales pipeline. Use cost and pricing data to predict sales trends and prepare reports for management.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel Skills: Expertise in creating complex formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros for detailed product cost analysis and financial reporting.
  • Power BI Proficiency: Ability to design and maintain interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports to track sales performance, product costs, and profitability metrics.
  • Google Sheets Expertise: Expertise in creating and managing collaborative reports and real-time data-sharing tools for tracking product costs and sales outcomes.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze product costs, sales data, and trends to provide actionable insights for pricing optimization, sales improvement, and cost management.
  • Product Costing Experience: Hands-on experience in calculating, analyzing, and updating product costs. Ability to work closely with finance to develop accurate cost structures and pricing models.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and effectively communicating pricing and costing information to clients and management.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and propose solutions to address product costing challenges and improve overall profitability.
  • Sales Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in sales coordination, operations, or a similar role with a focus on product costing is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
