Work you’ll do as a Sr. Consultant and Consultant

The primary role of a Consultant or Sr. Consultant is to be responsible for managing specific sub-work stream (or sub-modules) within a broader project. Sr. Consultants and Consultants on engagements report into the team lead/ manager and are responsible for end to end delivery of the sub-work stream allocated to them.

The responsibilities of Sr. Consultant or Consultant can include:

• Develop and maintain scalable data processing and analytics pipelines using Java and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Hive.
• Implement data transformation and integration workflows using Spark, Airflow, and Flink.

• 
  Work with BigQuery to manage and query large datasets efficiently.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across all data processing workflows.

• 
  Utilize Cloud Platform (GCP) services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• Optimize the use of GCP resources to enhance performance and reduce costs.

• 
  Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and team meetings.

• 
  Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data processing pipelines.
• Continuously improve the efficiency and scalability of data workflows.

• 
  Document technical designs, processes, and configurations.
• Provide regular updates and reports on the status of data projects.

Good to have skillsets

• 
  Cloud Certification
• Knowledge of one API gateway e.g. Apigee/Layer 7
• Knowledge on Docker and K8S

Qualifications

Sr. Consultant: 6+ years of experience

Consultant: 3+ years of experience

Professional Qualification - B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA/MS
