Computer Hardware and Network Engineer

Overview

Sidigiqor Technologies is seeking a Computer Hardware & Network Engineer to join our team in the Chandigarh region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading computer hardware, networking devices, and IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive problem solver with a strong technical background and the ability to provide on-site and remote IT support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hardware Support: Installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Networking: Setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• System Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to OS, software, and hardware failures.
• IT Security & Support: Ensuring network security, antivirus deployment, and data backup solutions.
• AMC Services: Providing regular maintenance under Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for clients.
• On-Site & Remote Support: Visiting client locations for IT support and ensuring minimal downtime.
• Documentation: Maintaining records of IT assets, configurations, and issue resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hardware and networking.
• Technical Skills:
• Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux OS, servers, and networking devices.
• Knowledge of IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, and firewall configurations.
• Ability to diagnose and repair computer hardware issues.
• Experience with CCTV installation and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, excellent communication, and client-handling skills.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel within Chandigarh, Panchkula, Mohali, and surrounding areas for on-site support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
