Position Summary:

  • Our Manager of Sales Compensation at Perforce is searching for a Commissions System Administrator to join the team. We are looking for a skilled Commissions System Administrator to manage our sales commission system and analytics processes. This dual role involves configuring and maintaining CaptivateIQ (CIQ), ensuring accurate commission calculations, analyzing commission data, and providing insights to optimize compensation structures. You will work closely with Finance, Sales Operations, Business Applications, and HR to ensure commission accuracy, automate processes, and enhance reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Compensation Data Analysis:
  • Configure and maintain commission plans, rules, and workflows.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and system updates.
  • Data Analytics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and trends
  • System Administration & Configuration:
  • Conduct hands-on configuration and development of CaptivateIQ
  • Serve as the primary administrator for CaptivateIQ, ensuring system performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Business Applications to integrate CaptivateIQ with Salesforce (future 2025 enhancement).
  • Commission Processing & Data Management:
  • Perform data imports, reconciliations, and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Address and resolve commission disputes and discrepancies.
  • Automate commission workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Manage all phases CIQ lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing management.
  • Support the implementation, and administration of compensation programs (e.g., variable pay, bonuses, and spiffs).
  • Provide training and consultative support internally
  • Support the annual sales compensation plan creation process
  • Analytics & Reporting:
  • Analyze commission data to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights on sales performance, compensation effectiveness, and commission spend forecasting.
  • Provide scenario modeling and impact analysis for new compensation structures.
  • User Support & Compliance:
  • Train end users on CaptivateIQ functionalities and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in CaptivateIQ administration
  • 2+ years of commissions analysis
  • Strong proficiency in data management, Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce and payroll processes
  • Understanding of sales compensation models and commission structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or finance.
  • Background in automation, process improvement, and workflow optimization.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
  • Strong Proficiency in SQL
  • Familiarity sales compensation plans in tech environments.
