Cloud Solution (Azure) Architect

The Cloud Solution (Azure) Architect is in charge of the technical implementation of the organization wide cloud deployment and migration strategy. This is a hands-on role crafting the cloud usage patterns for the entire organization with a strong focus on microservices, containers, immutable infrastructure and migrating existing work loads to cloud

• AWS or Azure trained / certified architect – e.g. Amazon Certified Solutions Architect – Professional Level
• Architectural certification (e.g TOGAF)
• Good familiarity with the disciplines of enterprise software development such as configuration & release management, source code & version controls, and operational considerations such as monitoring and instrumentation
• Strong knowledge on software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum, Kan Ban etc. Broad understanding of enterprise project lifecycle
• Extensive hands-on automation skills with either Chef or Puppet (or cloud tools like Terraform)
• Extensive hands-on delivery of complex large scale cloud architecture solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Masters preferred
• 8+ Years Experience – at least 3 years experience in a Cloud Architecture lead role
• Worked across multiple cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Has worked as a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect for a vendor or in Enterprise
• Have Hands on experience with Cloud App Containerization
• Should have delivered large scale enterprise cloud migration initiatives end to end
• Extensive experience with data ingest, storage and processing on cloud
