CloudOps Engineer mPokket is an App based lending platform showing tremendous growth potential. We need a strong CloudOps engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience in AWS Infrastructure. This position requires you to demonstrate hands-on expertise in Cloud Operations.
Position description: We are looking for a CloudOps Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in managing and automating cloud infrastructure on AWS.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring tools and basic idea/knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS cloud resources such as EC2, S3, RDS, Elasticache(redis), Openseach, WAF, Lambda, cloudfront, VPC, and security groups.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain high availability and performance.
- Regular version upgrade/maintenance of various AWS services.
- Provide on-call support for escalated off-hours issues.
- Use tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, datadog for AWS infra.
- Analyze cloud usage and optimize resources to minimize costs while ensuring efficiency.
- Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to streamline cloud operations.
- Maintaining and deploying the cloud applications.
We need you to have : - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or Masters.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.), VPNs.
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform/CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Good understanding of networking concepts such as VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers, Route Tables, and Security Groups.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- AWS Cloud Certification with experience as AWS Cloud Engineer required.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an advantage.
- A solid understanding of network concepts (routing, access control lists, VPN configuration, ) and the ability to apply these concepts in this solution.
We'd love to see : - Knowledge of security best practices in AWS environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and microservices architecture.
- Basic idea/knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
