Job Description
We are actively seeking a Cloud Engineer with FinOps expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing and optimizing cloud costs, ensuring efficient resource utilization across our cloud environment. This position requires a deep understanding of AWS cloud services, with additional experience in Harness, Dynatrace, PowerShell, and Terraform considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive analysis of cloud cost and usage trends to develop actionable optimization recommendations.
Implement effective cost-saving strategies utilizing AWS-native tools and third-party solutions.
Collaborate closely with finance and engineering teams to ensure alignment of cloud spending with overall business objectives.
Automate FinOps processes using PowerShell or Terraform, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.
Monitor and manage the performance of cloud infrastructure to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
Leverage tools such as Harness or Dynatrace for enhanced cloud cost visibility and automation capabilities.
Prepare and deliver regular reports and insights on cloud cost management and optimization efforts.
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, with a strong emphasis on FinOps practices.
Proven expertise in AWS cloud services and best practices for cost management.
In-depth knowledge of cloud cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Proficiency in PowerShell or Terraform for automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation.
Familiarity with Harness or Dynatrace is highly desirable.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
