Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure, facilitate seamless API integrations, and ensure efficient service delivery, supporting our global digital transformation initiatives. You will work closely with the project management team to align cloud solutions with business goals, systems architecture, and organizational standards. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to the continuous enhancement of technical standards and best practices for all aspects of cloud deployment and operational processes.

The Molex Cloud Team is dedicated to securely and efficiently provisioning multi-cloud resources for all Molex operations. We are accountable to the entire enterprise for designing innovative cloud services, developing and sharing best practices, and providing comprehensive support. What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain a stable and efficient infrastructure to optimize service delivery across environments throughout the development lifecycle.
• Utilize a consistent DevOps and DevSecOps approach to improve all phases of the process and ensure end-to-end quality across functions
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Implement automated infrastructure capabilities like backups, security tools, monitoring
• Monitor, troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve building, packaging, and deployment processes
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Setting up tools and required infrastructure
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Incident management and root cause analysis

• Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in many of the following technologies: AWS Core Services, AWS Orgs, AWS IAM, AWS Lambda, Terraform, Python
• Solid experience with API Development & Integration.
• Experience in designing and implementing automated CI/CD pipelines, streamlining software delivery to ensure efficient and reliable deployments across multiple environments.
• Experience in developing processes and optimizing system performance, while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• AWS cloud certifications.
