Cloud Engineer

Overview

Job Title: Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities:

· Design and Develop: Create and deploy modular cloud-based systems.

· Maintenance: Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

· Optimization: Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.

· Collaboration: Work with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.

· Support: Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs.

· Security: Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.

· Automation: Develop automation scripts for efficient deployment and operations of cloud-based resources.

Requirements:

· Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.

· Certifications in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) are preferred.

· Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design.

· Experience with cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.

· Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.

Skills:

· Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby.

· Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

· Understanding of networking and internet protocols.

· Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
