Cloud Engineer

Overview

1. Management: Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.) to meet business needs.

2. Administer, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers across different environments (on-premises, cloud, and hybrid).

3. Implement and maintain regular backup procedures and disaster recovery plans to protect critical business data.

4. Install, configure, and update server hardware and software, ensuring systems are up-to-date and performing optimally.

5. Develop automation scripts and tools to improve cloud deployment, scalability, and cost efficiency.

6. Implement best practices for cloud security, including identity and access management, encryption, and data protection.

7. Monitor cloud environments for performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resource utilization.

8. Configure and troubleshoot networking settings (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.) to ensure reliable server connectivity.

9. Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous deployment in the cloud.

10. Assist in cloud migration projects, moving legacy systems to the cloud while ensuring minimal downtime and maximum performance.

11. Design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for cloud-based services.

12. Monitor and optimize cloud usage and costs by setting up proper budgeting and cost controls.

13. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, deployments, and processes.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

● Proven experience working with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).Proficiency in cloud services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Kubernetes, etc.

● Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.

Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in a cloud environment.

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

● .Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.

● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Proven experience in server administration, including both Windows and Linux/Unix environments.

● Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM.

● Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and their server configurations.

● Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
