Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer - Tech Lead with expertise in Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), and Terraform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and automation in cloud-based applications. This role demands strong leadership and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering robust cloud solutions.

- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud environments with best practices for scalability, security, and resilience.
- Work extensively with Azure services, including AKS, APIM, Application Gateway, Front Door, Load Balancers, Azure SQL, Event Hub, Application Insights, ACR, Key Vault, VNet, Storage Account, Monitoring, Notification Hub, VMs, and DNS.
- Lead high-availability and disaster recovery planning for Azure workloads.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Kubernetes (AKS) clusters, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Develop and manage Helm charts for Kubernetes applications, ensuring automated deployments and best practices.
- Troubleshoot application performance, networking, and deployment issues in AKS environments.
- Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana for performance tracking.
- Design and develop complex Terraform modules for Azure and Kubernetes environments using providers such as azurerm, azapi, kubernetes, and helm.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments.
- Maintain version control and enforce GitOps principles.
- Implement GitOps, APIOps, and CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.
- Ensure secure and scalable API deployments using APIM.
- Enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies for proactive issue detection.
- Lead application troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis of cloud-based services.
- Ensure high availability, resilience, and fault tolerance for APIs and cloud-native applications.
- Optimize cloud costs and ensure compliance with best security practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in cloud architecture, security, and DevOps methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services including AKS, APIM, Key Vault, Load Balancers, Event Hub, and Application Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of containerization, Helm charts, Kubernetes security, networking, and scaling.
- Extensive hands-on experience in Terraform (azurerm, azapi, kubernetes, helm) for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Logging Frameworks.
- Strong background in GitOps, APIOps, automated deployments, and cloud security best practices.
- Expertise in diagnosing and resolving cloud infrastructure and application issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to take ownership and drive platform requirements with agility.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in Azure (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305), Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD), and Terraform (HashiCorp Certified) are highly preferred.
