Our Cloud DevOps Engineer will be automating the deployment, testing, and release of code and infrastructure. They will be ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud systems
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Automating the deployment, testing, and release of code and infrastructure.
- Ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud systems.
- Collaborating with development and operations teams to implement infrastructure as code.
- Managing and monitoring cloud resources, including infrastructure, networks, and databases.
- Identifying and resolving performance and reliability issues in a timely manner.
- Implementing security best practices, including identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
- Staying current with the latest cloud technologies and industry trends.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with at least 4 years of experience in the field of Software Engineering
- Proven coding or scripting skills, preferably Python
- Design and development of highly available systems
- Knowledge of monitoring solutions
- Proven work experience as a Cloud DevOps or similar role with at least 2 years of experience on AWS cloud platform
- Knowledge of AWS services and offerings
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools
- Experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible
- Experience with infrastructure as a code - preferably Terraform
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
