Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced L3 Network Deployment Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and deployment of large-scale network infrastructures, focusing on Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, VRF, Nexus switches, VPC, and Data Center networking. This role is deployment-centric, requiring expertise in configuring, testing, and rolling out network solutions to ensure seamless integration into mission-critical environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting, documentation, and network optimization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the deployment and implementation of enterprise and data center networks, ensuring efficient configuration and testing.
• Architect, deploy, and optimize Cisco ACI fabric, including multi-pod/multi-site configurations.
• Design and implement OSPF and BGP routing architectures, ensuring optimal path selection and redundancy.
• Configure and deploy VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding) instances for secure network segmentation.
• Manage the deployment of Cisco Nexus switches (5K, 7K, 9K) and VPC configurations.
• Conduct network performance testing post-deployment, resolving latency and connectivity issues.
• Create and maintain detailed network deployment documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with L2 engineers for escalations and deployment support.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate network security, automation, and SDN solutions during deployment.
• Provide technical leadership during network rollouts and mentor junior network engineers.
• Evaluate new networking technologies and recommend deployment strategies for scalability and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in networking, with a focus on deploying large-scale data center and enterprise environments.
• Expertise in Cisco ACI, OSPF, BGP, VRF, Nexus switches (5K, 7K, 9K), and VPC.
• Hands-on experience in deploying network automation tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, multicast, QoS, and security best practices.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting packet flows, connectivity, and performance issues using Wireshark, NetFlow, or similar tools.
• Excellent documentation skills, with experience in creating deployment plans and network diagrams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
