Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and insightful Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, capable of gathering, collating, and interpreting data from diverse sources, and proficient in creating clear, informative, and interactive dashboards. The candidate will help us transform raw data into actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collation & Integration:

• Extract, collect, and consolidate data from various internal and external databases/sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation and cleansing procedures.

Dashboard Creation & Visualization:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms.
• Create real-time and periodic dashboards tailored to the needs of various stakeholders.

Analytical Insights & Reporting:

• Analyze datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Generate reports highlighting key business metrics, performance indicators, and trends.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (academics, admissions, marketing, finance, operations, etc.) to understand data needs and requirements.
• Clearly communicate findings and provide strategic recommendations based on data-driven insights.

Continuous Improvement:

• Proactively identify opportunities for improving data collection methods, analytical techniques, and dashboard usability.
• Train stakeholders to interpret and use dashboards effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, dashboard creation, or business intelligence roles.

Proficiency in:

• Visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar.
• Data querying tools: SQL (advanced proficiency required).
• Excel/Google Sheets (advanced proficiency required).
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in simple terms.

Preferred Skills (Bonus points for):

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with educational institutions or academic environments.
