Business Analyst with Scrum Master Experience

Skillsets & Qualification

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on Agile/Scrum environments.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) preferred.
• Proven experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Strong experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and user stories.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Business Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and expectations, while providing regular updates on project progress.
• Scrum Facilitation: Serve as the Scrum Master for cross-functional teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through agile methodologies and encourage teams to embrace agile principles for higher efficiency.
• Documentation: Prepare clear, concise documentation for business requirements, user stories, and system specifications, ensuring that all stakeholders have a shared understanding.
• Communication: Foster strong communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and outcomes are well understood.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and roadblocks and work proactively to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Agile Best Practices: Support the team in following Scrum practices and agile best practices to enhance team productivity and project quality.
