Job description

As a Product Owner at Taxi, you will be responsible for driving product development by defining and prioritizing product backlogs, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with the company's business goals. Your ability to translate vision into actionable tasks will be critical to the success of our products within an Agile and Scrum environment.

Responsibilities:

• Define and articulate product vision, goals, and roadmap in alignment with business strategy.
• Prioritize the product backlog and ensure it aligns with business and customer needs.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, and designers, to refine requirements and deliver high-value features.
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed product requirements.
• Ensure clear communication of the product roadmap, backlog priorities, and project progress to stakeholders and team members.
• Conduct regular grooming sessions to refine The backlog and plan for upcoming sprints.
• Evaluate market trends, customer feedback and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Facilitate decision-making and address challenges to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance, ensuring successful delivery that meets or exceeds business objectives.

Skill / Expertise / Work background:

1. Product Management: Proven experience in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

2. Backlog Management: Expertise in creating, prioritizing, and managing product backlogs.

3. Agile Practices: Strong understanding of Agile principles and experience working within the Scrum framework.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders to align on product goals and priorities.

5. Data-Driven Decision Making: Proficiency in using analytics and customer feedback to guide product decisions.

6. Wireframing and Prototyping: Familiarity with tools like Figma or Balsamiq for visualizing product concepts and user journeys.

7. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey product vision and requirements.

8. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and make informed decisions.

9. Market Awareness: Experience in conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

10. Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other product management and collaboration tools.

11. Customer Focus: Ability to balance business needs with delivering a superior customer experience.

Qualification:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-7 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
• Certifications (Preferred): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certifications.
• Core Competencies: Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results.
• Industry Experience (Bonus): Prior experience in the transportation or mobility industry.
• Technical Skills (Added Advantage): Proficiency in wireframing tools like Figma or Balsamiq, data analysis tools, and visualization platforms.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaborative abilities to work across cross-functional teams.
