As a Business Analyst intern, you will work closely with stakeholders, including product /service managers, developers, and clients, to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of the business and drive overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders (business users, product owners, and subject matter experts) to gather, document, and analyze business needs and functional requirements.
- Business Process Analysis: Analyze and map existing business processes to identify areas of improvement, efficiency gains, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design solutions that meet business requirements, and ensure proper alignment with business objectives.
- Documentation: Create clear, concise, and detailed documentation, including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specification documents (FSDs), and user stories.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a communicator between the business and technical teams, ensuring that both sides have a clear understanding of the project goals and requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to generate insights, support business decisions, and identify trends or patterns that can lead to actionable improvements.
- Testing Support: Assist in the creation of test plans and scenarios, ensuring that the final product meets the business needs and functional requirements. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Project Support: Assist project managers with planning and tracking deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met and the solution is delivered according to business requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend solutions, and help implement changes to enhance business performance.
- Change Management: Help manage changes to business requirements, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and the impact of changes is understood and managed.
- Fresher with a deep interest in Business Analyst role.
- Education: Masters degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Business Analysis Techniques: Experience using business analysis methodologies, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder analysis.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to understand complex business problems and design effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all documentation and project requirements.
- Collaboration: Excellent team player who can work with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Tools & Software: Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio) and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello).
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
