Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic professional who can play a dual role of Business Analyst and Scrum Master. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, while also facilitating Agile development practices within the team. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather detailed requirements.
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system functionality.
- Documentation:
- Create detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS).
- Maintain process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business teams, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops, demos, and requirement clarification sessions.
- Solution Design & Support:
- Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
- Support testing efforts by creating test cases and participating in UAT.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Agile Facilitation:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Ensure Agile principles and Scrum practices are followed by the team.
- Team Coordination:
- Remove impediments and roadblocks to ensure smooth delivery.
- Coordinate with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized and well-groomed backlog.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Track sprint progress using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.
- Ensure delivery timelines are met and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance team performance and implement improvements.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and ownership within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in requirement management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Familiarity with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical concepts.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Leadership skills to guide and motivate teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP certification.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks like SAFe or Kanban.
- Experience in domains like Finance, Healthcare, or E-commerce.
