Role Overview:
As a Business Analyst – Capabilities, you will play a pivotal role in understanding business goals, driving digital transformation initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable business solutions. You will gather and analyze business requirements, facilitate communication between stakeholders and technical teams, and ensure the successful implementation of advanced digital capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Understanding & Stakeholder Collaboration:
Deeply understand business goals, strategies, and operational processes.
Partner with business SMEs to identify future scopes, perform pre-discovery, and lead data discovery sessions.
Gather, analyze, document, and validate business stakeholders' needs.
Translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
Lead and facilitate meetings to drive project progress and business value generation.
2. Solution Design & Delivery:
Write detailed user stories, manage scrum calls, and prioritize the product backlog.
Analyze the business and system impacts of solutions and partner with teams to deliver fully tested outcomes.
Design solutions aligned with technical architecture, database design, and performance
requirements.
Write and execute test scripts to validate business testing requirements.
Ensure solutions are embedded into business processes and continuously improved to
address evolving needs.
3. Communication & Reporting:
Provide clear, timely, and transparent communication on project progress to internal and
external stakeholders.
Facilitate end-user adoption of digital capabilities, deliver training, and provide ongoing
support.
Gather feedback from users to enhance and optimize deployed solutions.
4. Agile & Project Management:
Apply Agile methodologies to manage digital product development and delivery.
Prioritize and manage product backlogs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Ensure alignment between business goals and technical deliverables.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Specialization in Supply Chain,
Finance, IT, Business Analytics, or Data Science is strongly preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in Supply
Chain, Finance, IT, or other relevant functional areas.
Stakeholder Management: Outstanding collaboration, influencing, and communication
skills.
Technical Knowledge:
o Understanding of operational business processes within Supply Chain (Planning,
Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Logistics).
o Experience with ERP systems (SAP), Tableau, Alteryx, and SQL is preferred.
o Proficiency in Agile methodologies, including writing user stories, managing sprints,
and prioritizing backlogs.
o Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse) or other cloud
platforms.
Scrum Alliance certification (e.g., Product Owner, ScrumMaster) is a plus.
Experience in large, cross-functional projects within a complex global organization.
Strong digital product management experience, including building and managing data
analytics platforms.
Knowledge of design-thinking best practices – empathy, ideation, prototyping, and testing.
Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams to drive comprehensive solutions
