Job Title: Business Analyst – Retail Banking

Location: Lucknow (UP), India / Remote

Job Type: Full-time

About the role:

We are looking for a Business Analyst – Retail Banking with 3 to 5 years of experience, specializing

in Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) and Business Flow Diagrams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of retail banking processes, business analysis methodologies, and the ability to translate business needs into functional workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Requirement Gathering & Documentation

o Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.

o Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification

Documents (FSD).

o Conduct requirement workshops, brainstorming sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

o Perform gap analysis between existing and proposed solutions.

2. Business Flow Diagrams & Process Mapping

o Convert business requirements into Business Flow Diagrams, process maps, and data

flow diagrams.

o Use tools like Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or BPMN tools to create clear visual workflows.

o Define use cases, user journeys, and process improvements for banking applications.

3. Retail Banking Expertise

o Worked on savings accounts, loans, credit cards, payments, and digital banking projects.

o Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and banking standards.

o Assist in digital transformation initiatives, mobile banking, and customer experience enhancements.

4. Collaboration with IT & Development Teams

o Act as a liaison between business teams, IT, and third-party vendors.

o Assist in the design, development, and testing of banking applications.

o Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), prepare test cases, and validate solutions.

5. Project & Change Management

o Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and define user stories.

o Work on project roadmaps, milestones, and risk assessment.

o Support implementation and post-go-live monitoring.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor / Master’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.

2. 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Retail Banking.

3. Expertise in BRD, FSD, and Business Flow Diagram creation.

4. Hands-on experience with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN, etc).

5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients,

stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to prioritize tasks, meets deadlines, and manages multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
