Position Title: Business Analyst

Employment Type: Full time ( work from office)

Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad

Position Summary:

As a Business Analyst , you will act as a bridge between our clients and our technical teams, ensuring successful project delivery and driving business transformation. You will be responsible for understanding clients' business needs, processes, and goals, and then translating them into actionable requirements for our technology solutions. Your analytical skills, domain knowledge, and communication abilities will play a crucial role in shaping effective strategies and delivering value-added solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Business Requirements Gathering:

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with clients to understand their business objectives, processes, and pain points.
• Elicit and document clear, detailed, and comprehensive business requirements, considering both functional and non-functional aspects.

2) Analysis and Solution Design:

• Analyze and evaluate existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to design innovative and efficient technology solutions aligned with clients' business goals.

3) Data Analysis and Modeling:

• Work with large datasets to analyze trends, patterns, and key performance indicators that can drive informed decision-making.
• Create data models and prototypes to demonstrate proposed solutions and validate requirements.

4) Documentation and Deliverables:

• Prepare well-structured and comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, process flows, and other relevant project artifacts.
• Develop project plans, status reports, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

5) Stakeholder Management:

• Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and concerns, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and project outcomes.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other team members to facilitate smooth communication and project progress.

6) Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and validate that the delivered solutions meet the specified requirements.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies.

7) Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in commercial pharmaceuticals and data analytics.
• Propose process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the commercial pharmaceuticals industry.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology consulting or IT services environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with software development life cycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau) and experience with data visualization.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and commercial strategies.

2) Next you will be given a Skills Test to assess your technical and problem solving skills. (Skills test is dependent on the role applied for and not all roles will need a skills test)

3) In the third step of the process, you will be talking with a recruiter to provide you more information about the job and prepare you for an interview with the hiring managers

4) Lastly, depending on the role applied for, you will go through either one or two rounds of interviews with hiring managers at XponentL Data, Inc our client partner.
