BUSINESS ANALYST

A reputable construction firm in Ghana seeks a results-oriented Business Analyst to support strategic planning and project performance across its residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. This role plays a dual function—enhancing business operations and contributing to the success of construction projects, with a particular focus on integrating sustainable and renewable energy initiatives. The Business Analyst will collaborate with key departments, including construction management, sustainability, finance, and procurement, to evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide actionable insights. Your analysis will directly support improved planning, budget control, and operational efficiency, ultimately driving innovation and excellence across diverse projects. While this role is based in Ghana, the company is specifically seeking to hire an Indian national for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with construction managers and site supervisors to gather data and assess
  
  

project timelines, costs, and resource needs.

• Analyze and report on project performance metrics (e.g., cost variance, productivity,
  
  

material usage).

• Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction activities and track deliverables
  
  

against milestones.

• Support procurement decisions by analyzing supplier performance and material cost
  
  

trends.

• Provide data and business cases for incorporating renewable energy solutions (e.g.,
  
  

solar systems, energy-efficient materials) into ongoing projects.

• Monitor compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis for new projects—including green
  
  

and energy-efficient construction.

• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for leadership, integrating both construction
  
  

KPIs and business performance indicators.

• Research sustainable construction trends, local regulations, and competitive activity in
  
  

the Ghanaian market.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business
  
  

Administration, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in a business analysis or project coordination role within the
  
  

construction, or energy sector.

• Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and on-site operations.
• Familiarity with sustainable energy concepts such as solar integration, green building
  
  

techniques, or energy audits.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and construction/project management tools (e.g.,
  
  

Procore, MS Project).

• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction project management in Ghana or West Africa.
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Management (PMP,
  
  

PRINCE2).

• Knowledge of Ghanaian building codes, environmental standards, and renewable
  
  

energy regulations.

• Indian national with willingness to relocate to or currently residing in Ghana
