How will you make an impact in this role?
Global Real Estate and Workplace Experience (GREWE) is the global team at Amex that is responsible for the full lifecycle of planning, execution, and operations of Amex offices globally. GREWE supports over 65,000 Amex colleagues and contractors in over eight million square feet of property located in 41 countries. Our real estate portfolio consists of large full-service campuses, office buildings, sales offices and airport lounges. The sites may be owned, leased or be occupied through a serviced space arrangement.

Purpose of the role: Collaborate with multiple internal teams to understand and deliver efficient Monthly Reporting of Financial Results, Creating Month End decks & analyze GREWE P&L.
Responsibilities:
- Own GREWE P&L and month end related activities like review and analysis of monthly financial results, review of all the accruals & MJE’s posted, etc.
- Accountable to consolidate financial results and reporting the same to leadership with detailed commentary.
- Partner with LFO, BU FP&A teams on month end deliverables like R&O submission, financial result analysis, LRP, Plan etc.
- Execute overall financial planning for GREWE business which includes building Annual Plan, LRP, Plan refresh.
- Provide financial analysis for major Global Real Estate projects.
- Support in creating presentations for senior leadership in Finance and the GREWE business.
- Generating business insights using data analytics to answer business problems.
- Support various in-house and organizational Transformation Projects
Minimum Qualifications
- CA/MBA in Finance or any other equivalent degree required
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in FP&A profile
- Ability to handle aggressive deadlines while simultaneously working through multiple tasks
- Strong financial / analytical skills required
- Understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Outstanding problem solver with research-oriented approach
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, TM1 and Oracle SL
- Must have strong base of Financial Reporting
- Strong financial and accounting understanding
Preferred Qualifications
- A very good problem solver with research-oriented approach
- Strong experience in Financial & analytics tools
- Ability to work deliver on time with utmost accuracy
- Must be able to work hands-on with adequate supervision or assistance.
- Be flexible to operate in different time zones to troubleshoot queries and issues.
Technical skills/Knowledge of platforms:
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle, P2P system will be an added advantage.
