
Overview
Business Requirement Gathering:
Work closely with stakeholders across various business functions (risk, operations, marketing, finance, etc.) to gather and document detailed business requirements for advanced analytics initiatives.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for data science and analytics teams.
Data Driven Decision Making:
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business teams to identify key business questions and opportunities that can be addressed through advanced analytics and AI models.
Contribute to the interpretation of analytical findings, ensuring that actionable insights are communicated clearly to both technical and non technical stakeholders Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors. Advanced Analytics Support:
Provide support throughout the lifecycle of advanced analytics projects, from ideation to delivery.
Ensure that business requirements are aligned with data science models and that the results are practical, scalable, and actionable within the banks operations.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and efficiencies, leveraging analytics to optimize business processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of automated reporting solutions to improve data visibility and decision making.
Experience:
6+ Year overall experience. 3+ years of experience in a business analysis role, with a focus on advanced analytics or data driven projects.
Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly desirable. Technical Skills:
Understanding of business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
Basic understanding of machine learning, predictive analytics, and data visualization concepts.
Analytical & Problem Solving Skills:
Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders. Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data-driven insights to a wide variety of audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with financial products and services such as corporate banking, loans, investments, and risk management.
Experience with statistical analysis or machine learning algorithms is a plus.
