Job Title: Business Analyst with Expertise in Technical Documentation
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong focus on technical documentation writing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. This role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to ensure that all technical documentation meets the highest standards of accuracy and clarity.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Documentation:
- Develop, write, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including but not limited to user guides, API documentation, system manuals, process flows, and configuration guides.
- Create and manage templates for various types of technical documents to ensure consistency across all documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product functionalities and translate them into clear technical documents.
- Business Analysis:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for improvement in business processes.
- Prepare detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide development teams.
- Work with UX/UI designers to ensure that the user experience is consistent with documented requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather and refine requirements and discuss technical documentation needs.
- Provide regular updates on documentation progress to project stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review and edit documents created by other team members for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Ensure that all documentation adheres to company standards and industry best practices.
Test and validate that the documentation aligns with the actual product functionality. -
Requirements
1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on technical documentation writing.
3. Technical Documentation Skills:
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documents such as user guides, API documentation, system manuals, Protocol Document etc.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
4. Software Proficiency:
- Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, MS Office, or similar.
- Familiarity with tools for API documentation, such as Swagger or Postman.
5. Analytical Skills:
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes, including Agile methodologies.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements effectively.
- Experience in preparing detailed functional specifications and use cases.
6. Collaboration & Communication:
- Proven ability to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure clarity in all interactions.
