Business Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst with expertise in the retail sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making. This role requires strong SQL querying skills, data extraction capabilities, and the ability to present findings to management in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and execute SQL queries to extract, analyze, and interpret large datasets from retail systems (e.g., POS, inventory, CRM).
• Generate automated reports and dashboards for management to track KPIs and business performance.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI tools, databases, and ERP systems.
• Present data-driven insights to stakeholders through visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) and actionable recommendations.
• Identify inefficiencies in retail processes and propose data-backed solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements or process changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years as a Business Analyst in the retail sector, with exposure to Retail supermarts, supply chain, or merchandising.
• Hands-on experience writing SQL queries (Joins, Subqueries, Aggregations) and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
• Knowledge of retail systems (ERP, POS, CRM) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
