Overview
We are looking for a high-potential Business Analyst with 1 year of experience and a Tier 1 academic background to join our product and strategy team. In this role, you’ll work closely with Product Managers, Tech, and CS teams to analyze HR workflows, drive data-backed decision-making and help build scalable, user-centric HRTech solutions. This role offers steep learning, ownership and exposure to cross-functional teams in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

🔍 Business Product Analysis
- Understand and document customer journeys in HR processes like onboarding, payroll, performance, and engagement.
- Translate user problems into product requirements (BRDs, user stories, wireframes).
- Support roadmap planning with competitor benchmarking and internal research.
- Analyze product usage data to identify trends, user behavior and areas of improvement.
- Create actionable dashboards and reports using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
- Work with stakeholders to derive insights from feedback and performance metrics.
- Act as a bridge between product, engineering, sales and customer success teams.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to improve user experience based on research and usability feedback.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives.
- Assist in defining test cases and conducting user acceptance testing for new features.
- Validate releases against requirements and ensure quality deliverables.
🎓 Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier 1 institute (e.g., IITs, IIMs, ISB, BITS, NITs).
- Background in Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or HR-related fields preferred.
- 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a SaaS or HRTech setup.
- Strong command over tools like Excel, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, Figma or BI platforms.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of HRMS/HRIS platforms is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with structured thinking.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-led culture.
