This role requires deep knowledge of requirement analysis, client communication, project management, scrum handling, and team coordination.
Job Summary
As a Senior Business Analyst at Applogiq, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by leading requirement analysis, managing client communication, and overseeing task allocation within your team. You will be responsible for driving project success while ensuring the team stays on track through effective project and scrum management. Your role will require you to manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from gathering and analyzing requirements to final project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis & Documentation:
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and client meetings to understand business needs and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop clear, concise Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and user stories, ensuring that all requirements are well-understood and actionable.
- Conduct gap analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to design feasible solutions that meet business objectives.
- Client Communication & Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, establishing and maintaining strong, productive relationships.
- Lead regular client meetings to ensure that their needs are understood and that the project is progressing as expected.
- Address client concerns and proactively manage expectations to ensure client satisfaction.
- Task Allocation & Team Coordination:
- Allocate tasks to business analysts and other team members, ensuring an even workload distribution and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor the progress of tasks and provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality output.
- Coordinate with development, testing, and other functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration and timely delivery.
- Project & Scrum Handling:
- Manage the project lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective collaboration and progress tracking.
- Track project timelines and milestones, mitigate risks, and ensure that the project stays aligned with the business goals and requirements.
- Project Delivery & Stakeholder Management:
- Ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects by coordinating with the project manager and all relevant teams.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Handle project-related documentation and provide clear communication on deliverables and timelines.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement within the project delivery framework.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, methodologies, and tools in business analysis and project management, and integrate these into the team's processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3 - 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record in requirement analysis, client communication, and project management.
- Project Management & Scrum: Hands-on experience in managing projects and leading scrum ceremonies. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a must.
- Team Leadership & Task Allocation: Experience in allocating tasks, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring team alignment on project objectives.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify gaps, and develop solutions to address challenges.
- Tools & Methodologies: Proficiency in business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (certifications in project management or Scrum are a plus).
