Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Conduct a detailed analysis of existing IT infrastructure, systems, and applications to assess Windows 11 compatibility.

• 
  Evaluate the impact of migration on users relying on assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, speech-to-text software, and alternative input devices.

• 
  Collaborate with the IT team to document technical dependencies, risks, and required changes.

• 
  Identify legacy systems, specialist software, and bespoke applications requiring remediation.

• 
  Document technical gaps, risks, and necessary adjustments to ensure uninterrupted user support during the transition.

• 
  Work closely with departmental leads, IT service managers, and application owners to capture business and technical requirements.

• 
  Conduct workshops and interviews with business users to understand operational needs post-migration.

• 
  Document business use cases, system dependencies, and impact assessments.

• 
  Develop a risk register highlighting key risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies for each phase of migration.

• 
  Assess potential downtime, service disruptions, and operational challenges for users.

• 
  Identify compliance, licensing, or policy-related risks linked to the migration.

• 
  Support the development and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios.

• 
  Assist in compatibility testing of line-of-business applications and third-party software.

• 
  Provide input into change management strategies to ensure users are well-prepared for Windows 11.

• 
  Develop documentation, FAQs, and training guides for business users.

• 
  Support internal IT teams in creating a knowledge base for future reference.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Computer Science, or related field.

• 
  5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or related role.

• 
  Experience in IT infrastructure analysis, system migrations, and Windows OS upgrades.

• 
  Strong knowledge of assistive technologies and their impact on system migrations.

• 
  Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and risk assessment.

• 
  Experience with UAT, software compatibility testing, and impact analysis.

• 
  Strong documentation skills with experience in developing training guides and FAQs.

• 
  Familiarity with governance frameworks and compliance policies related to IT migrations.

• 
  Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
