Business Analyst

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Prepare detailed Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) and Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to ensure accurate understanding and alignment with project goals.
• Create process flow diagrams, swimlane diagrams, and use case diagrams to visually represent workflows and requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with development, QA, and design teams to ensure the accurate implementation of requirements.
• Facilitate requirements review and approval meetings with stakeholders and clients.
• Assist in project planning, risk assessment, and prioritization of tasks.
• Ensure requirements traceability through all phases of the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• 6months to 1 year of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software development or IT projects.
• Expertise in preparing SRS, BRD, and process modeling.
• Strong proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, swimlane diagrams, and other business analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools such as MS Visio, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage tasks independently in a freelance capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Domain expertise in finance, e-commerce, or healthcare sectors (not mandatory but advantageous).
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
