Position: Business Analyst
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst with 2-3 years of proven success in analysing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering effective solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and will be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving efficiency and innovation within our organization.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Elicitation and Analysis:
- Conduct detailed requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders using various techniques, including interviews, workshops, surveys, and document analysis.
- Analyze and document business requirements, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements.
- Develop clear and concise user stories, use cases, and process flows.
- Ensure requirements are traceable, verifiable, and aligned with business objectives.
Process Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and document current and future state process models.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and generate reports and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Use data analysis to support decision-making and drive business improvements.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and resolve issues.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals.
Project Support:
- Collaborate with project managers and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the development of test plans and test cases.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide support for the implementation and deployment of new systems and processes.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including requirements documents, process flows, and user manuals.
Customer Success:
- Onboard new customers effectively, ensuring a smooth and successful initial experience.
- Proactively identify and address customer needs and pain points.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Conduct regular customer health checks and proactively identify potential churn risks.
- Provide timely and effective solutions to customer issues and inquiries.
- Gather customer feedback and translate it into actionable insights.
- Track and analyze customer satisfaction metrics (e.g., CSAT, NPS).
Business Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
- Gather and analyze customer data to understand user behavior and identify areas for improvement.
- Define and document user stories and acceptance criteria for new product features.
- Collaborate with the product team to prioritize features and roadmap development.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback on new product releases.
- Track and analyze product usage data to identify areas for optimization.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
- Strong understanding of business process modelling and analysis.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with business analysis tools and software (e.g., Visio, Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Ready to travel to meet the customers within India and Aboard.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in [Specify Industry: e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Technology].
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA).
- Experience with SQL or other database query languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
