Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications for the technology teams. You will play a key role in designing solutions, improving business processes, and ensuring successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and pain points. Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, workflows, and processes.
Translate business needs into clear, concise functional specifications for the development team.
Solution Design & Implementation:
Collaborate with technology teams to propose practical and innovative solutions. Ensure alignment of solutions with organizational strategy and technological capabilities. Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a bridge between business teams and technical teams.
Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to key stakeholders.
Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Documentation & Quality Assurance:
Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
Ensure accuracy and maintenance of project documentation.
Support system testing, user acceptance testing, and solution validation.
Process Improvement & Risk Management:
Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
Recommend and assist in implementing process improvements.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and suggest mitigation strategies.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, etc.
- Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
