
Overview
Manufacturing Operations Expertise:
Provide subject matter expertise in manufacturing operations, including production planning, process optimization, inventory management, quality control, and supply chain management.
Work closely with operations teams to identify challenges and provide actionable solutions for improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall productivity.
Develop and implement best practices for operational workflows and continuously assess performance metrics for improvement opportunities.
Qlik & Power BI Reporting & Analytics:
Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Qlik and Power BI to monitor and analyze manufacturing performance metrics (e.g., production output, quality control, machine downtime, etc.).
Leverage Qlik and Power BI to create real-time analytics solutions for key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decisions across the manufacturing operations team.
Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure proper data integration, cleansing, and modeling for effective reporting and business intelligence.
Provide training and support to end-users in understanding and utilizing BI tools for actionable insights in operations management.
Data Management & Process Improvement:
Ensure data integrity and consistency across various systems and applications related to manufacturing operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data patterns, trends, and insights, recommending process changes, and participating in root cause analysis of operational issues.
Assist in the automation of routine reporting and analytics to improve the speed and accuracy of decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain to align manufacturing operations with business objectives.
Communicate findings, trends, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience in implementing Qlik and Power BI for operational analytics, reporting, and business intelligence.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and supply chain management.
Experience in optimizing operations using data-driven insights and advanced reporting tools.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Qlik Sense, QlikView, Power BI, and other BI tools for reporting and analytics.
Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and integration of data from various sources.
Understanding of key manufacturing KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, cycle time, throughput) and how they relate to business performance.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
