Project description
As a Business Analyst specializing in liquidity reporting, you will play a key role in understanding and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Working closely with stakeholders, you will analyze and document business processes related to trustee depository, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. You will bring a combination of business acumen, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of commercial lending practices.
Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document trustee depository requirements.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information from various stakeholders.
Analysis and documentation:
Analyze and document existing trustee depository processes, workflows, and business rules.
Identify areas for process improvement, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation.
Data Analysis:
Work with large datasets to extract meaningful insights related to trustee depository performance.
Analyze credit risk, loan portfolio trends, and other relevant financial metrics.
Solution Design:
Develop detailed business requirements and specifications for trustee depository system enhancements.
Collaborate with the IT and development teams to design and implement technical solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business users, IT teams, and other relevant departments.
Provide ongoing support and clarification on requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Participate in testing activities to ensure that trustee depository solutions meet business requirements.
Conduct user acceptance testing and facilitate the resolution of any identified issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in the trustee depository.
Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems.
Skills
Must have
Hands-on experience with Hadoop to AWS migration (S3, Snowflake)
Support the automation of regulatory liquidity reporting
Capability to lead discussions with the QA team independently to meet migration objectives
Flexible to adapt to changing project needs, support functional testing, and work with UK stakeholders in their time zones
Proficient in creating and managing Tableau dashboards for liquidity and regulatory metrics
Ability to capture and document detailed business and regulatory reporting requirements
Define transformation rules for accurate data migration and reporting
Ensure data consistency and accuracy across legacy and cloud systems
Collaborate with business, compliance, and IT teams to ensure reporting requirements are met. Conduct UAT with business
Analyse and address data gaps, trends, and reporting issues
Produce clear BRDs, user stories, and functional specifications
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and big data tools like Hadoop, EMR, etc.

Nice to have
Expertise in BCBS 248 and ILAAP for intraday liquidity and regulatory reporting
Strong experience with ISO 20022 payments, bank statements, and liquidity position calculations etc.
