Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our engineering team. In this role, you'll take ownership of medium to large features, driving them from design to production rollout. You'll work on impactful projects like enhancing our event timeline, improving clip customization, and implementing new pricing tiers.

Requirements:
What You’ll Do:

• Own Feature Development – Independently design, develop, and deploy medium to large features with ambiguous requirements.
• Engineering & Design Expertise – Write and review technical design documents, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions.
• Production System Management – Debug and optimize production systems for better performance and reliability.
• Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Code Reviews & Mentorship – Participate in code reviews, on-call rotations, and mentor junior engineers.
• Product Ownership – Take responsibility for a specific area of the product, ensuring its stability and growth.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in React, Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong engineering design skills with the ability to write and review technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of production systems and strong debugging skills.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Background from top-tier IITs/NITs is a plus.
