Overview

Position - Backend SAAS Software Engineer

Required Technical Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of Java software development experience.
• Expertise:
• Proficiency in Java concurrency and multi-threading.
• Hands-on experience with protocol development, including custom-built protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Java security best practices, encompassing secure coding, authentication, and authorization.
• Proven experience in migrating monolithic solutions to scalable, cloud-native, and SaaS applications/services.
• Practical experience with socket programming and an understanding of file transfer protocols (e.g., FTP/SFTP, SCP, HTTP) and SSL/TLS.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end Managed File Transfer (MFT) flows.
• Integration with RESTful services using JSON.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to application performance and cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS).
• Hands-on experience with file transfer protocols, including FTP/S and SFTP.
• Knowledge of EDI protocols such as AS2 and OFTP2.
• Strong foundation in the Managed File Transfer (MFT) software domain.
• AWS Certified Developer certification.
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) is a plus.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write clean, well-designed, and thoroughly documented code.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?80,000.00 per month
