Back-End Developer (2-5 Years Experience) – 3-Month Contract (Possible Extension & UK Relocation)

About the Role

We are looking for a Back-End Developer with 2-5 years of experience to support the development of a warehouse management software platform. The role involves working with Node.js, Express.js, and API integrations, ensuring seamless data processing, authentication, and system security.

This is a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension and relocation to the UK for continued development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a Node.js-based backend for a warehouse management system
• Implement secure authentication workflows using JWT
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs for data retrieval and system integrations
• Work with MongoDB or PostgreSQL for efficient database management
• Ensure secure communication between the front-end (ReactJS) and back-end
• Integrate with ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) APIs for vehicle verification
• Implement cloud-based document storage and retrieval functionalities
• Use monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog for system tracking
• Ensure data security and compliance with encryption and firewall measures

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in back-end development
• Strong expertise in Node.js and Express.js
• Experience with JWT authentication and API security
• Familiarity with database management (MongoDB or PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and optimization
• Understanding of cloud-based storage solutions (AWS, Azure, or private cloud)
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug back-end performance issues
