Job Title: Azure Data Engineer (Part-Time)

Location: Chennai, India (Office-based)

Job Type: Part-Time

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Services and be able to provide support to our team during business hours, Monday to Friday. This role will require you to be on-site in Chennai and dedicate 1 to 1.5 hours each day to ensure the successful management and execution of data engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support data engineering activities within the Azure ecosystem.
• Develop and manage Azure-based data solutions (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Azure SQL Database, etc.).
• Assist with data integration, transformation, and analysis tasks.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
• Provide daily updates on progress and challenges faced during the assigned time.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure data systems and processes are running smoothly.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar data engineering role.
• Proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Databricks, and other relevant Azure services.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data integrity.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Azure Data Engineering (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate).
• Experience with cloud security best practices and data governance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 1 to 1.5 hours per day

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 10 per week
