About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer for a renowned client who is revolutionizing data-driven decision-making. This is your chance to work with cutting-edge Azure technologies and play a pivotal role in building robust data solutions that power critical business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Build scalable ETL pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions using Azure Blob Storage.
• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Write efficient code in Python and PySpark for data transformations and processing.
• Perform complex SQL queries to analyze and retrieve data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of data systems.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure and data engineering tools and techniques.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on Azure services.
• Proven expertise in:
• Azure Data Factory for data orchestration.
• Databricks for ETL and analytics.
• Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Python and PySpark for data transformations.
• SQL for querying and database management.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure SQL is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certification in Azure Data Engineering or related technologies is a bonus.
