Azure Data Engineer

Overview

We are looking for experienced Azure Data Engineers, with expertise in Databricks to join our team and contribute to delivering data- driven solutions to clients in the US, Middle East, and European markets. The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, data visualization, and cloud technologies, with a strong understanding of how data can be used to drive business decisions. You will work closely with the technical and sales teams to design, build, and optimize scalable data systems while contributing to the overall success of our consulting and implementation projects.

Responsibilities

•  Develop, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support various business needs.
•  Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to design and implement data models that meet business requirements.
•  Work closely with the technical team to ensure the implementation of best practices for data management and architecture.
•  Ensure the quality, integrity, and accessibility of data across platforms.
•  Optimize cloud data solutions on Azure, or AWS.
•  Work on projects related to data engineering, data visualization, and AI, supporting client objectives.
•  Provide guidance and expertise on best practices for data engineering and architecture.
•  Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
•  Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends within the data engineering space to continuously improve processes.
•  Provide regular updates on project progress and data-related challenges to the management team.

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
•  Strong experience in data engineering, including working with ETL pipelines and cloud based data platforms.
•  Expertise in Azure cloud and Databricks - Databricks Certification is preferred
•  Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and others relevant to data engineering.
•  Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize data solutions.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
•  Familiarity with data compliance and security standards.
