Cloud Network Engineer

12 months Contract

Location : Chennai /Pune (Onsite)

Experience

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Network operations/Design/Solution/Implementation support for UK/Europe/US based account.

Technical Skills

• Typically, 4+ years’ experience with Azure (e.g., deploying and maintaining Azure networking resources such as Azure Express route, VNets, Address space allocation, subnetting, Network security groups, Network gateways, VNet peering, Network Virtual Appliances, Firewalls, Azure load balancers, network monitoring tools and Security monitoring tools.)

• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as code or automation frameworks in a production environment.

• Familiarity with GIT or similar version control systems.

• Expert Python scripting knowledge

• Working experience with infrastructure as code building CI/CD pipelines, from a greenfield scenario.

• Ability to assist DevOps team in networking requests.

• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks cloud solutions (e.g., Panorama)

• Good experience in handling Azure DNS

• Good experience and understanding of Infoblox design and architecture

• Good hands-on experience in configuring Infoblox

• Good Knowledge of on premise and Azure cloud networking.

• Good knowledge & Hand on Experience in Cisco, Palo Alto Firewall, Fortinet Firewalls, Tufin, F5 Load Balancer, Juniper switches/Router, Zscaler & Extreme Wireless.

• Good knowledge in handling Palo Alto from CLI and Panorama

• Should have good understanding of Routing and Switching concepts.

• Should have good understanding of Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SDWAN and MPLS.

• Should have a good understanding of Wireless concepts.

• Should have good troubleshooting and Implementation skills in IPsec and Any connect VPN, ACL, NAT, PAT and Security policies

• Good understanding of Palo Alto URL based ACL’s and Filters

• Hands on in TCP dump capture, packet analysis and analyzing with Wireshark filters

• Security infrastructure experience pertaining to Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Proxies, Enterprise Log Management, Load-Balancers, DNS/IP management and VPN.

• Excellent verbal, written, and collaborative interpersonal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills relating to network security technologies.

• Good knowledge on Failover and VPN high availability

• Good understanding in LDAP and other two factor authentication standards and implementations

• Fortinet Certified

• Azure Certified

• Infoblox Certified

Other Skillset

• Ability to work with 3rd party vendors, OEMs and Product suppliers.

• Knowledge on Contracts and SLAs.

• Good Knowledge in Network Security Orchestration

• Good knowledge in ITIL process.
